Another member of the “Crips” criminal street gang, Henry Herbert Locks, of Houston, has been arrested in Kinney County, accused of smuggling illegal aliens.

Kinney County Sheriff’s Office deputies say there were 6 illegal aliens with him, and another passenger named Shantell M. Craftsman, from Hagerstown, Maryland, when they were captured on April 16.

They both face 6 counts of smuggling of persons. Locks is also accused of evading arrest.

Deputies say he had escaped cleanly into the brush at one point, but came back and surrendered. Apparently, according to a Sheriff’s Office Facebook post, “the escape was so clean, he managed to slip right out of his shoes and leave them behind.”

Given the rocky terrain, cactus, thorny mesquites and other brush, he decided to return and surrender.”

Locks is also the subject of an outstanding warrant out of Louisiana, accused of battering a police officer.
